Iftikhar Ahmed serves as the President and Secretary General of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry USA. He leads the Executive Committee and the Secretariat, oversees programme delivery and represents the Chamber in regional and international forums.
It is my privilege to serve the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry USA at a moment of tremendous opportunity. Our vision is to unite South Asian entrepreneurs, professionals and enterprises based in the United States with the region's dynamic private sector — opening doors for trade, investment and knowledge exchange. Through joint ventures, policy dialogue and diaspora-led initiatives, we aim to turn shared heritage into shared prosperity. Mandate
- 1Coordinate programmes across the eight member states.
- 2Represent the Chamber at SAARC country consulates, US institutions and multilateral forums.
- 3Steward research, policy advocacy and flagship events.
- 4Serve as principal liaison to development partners and donors.
